Tag Archive: Swedish House Mafia

Here we are, another friday and another post. This week was treacherous to say the least but it has finally ended! So to not waste your night, tonight will be short and sweet. First up we have somebody knew to me but none the less worthy of being here. So since I do not have much to say, I will let the song speak for itself, so enjoy:

NExt up tonight we have america’s man, Kaskade. I see a large year coming for Kaskade and this newest release does not change my opinion. I’m not the largest mash-up fan but come on, it’s Kaskade! Plus this isnt just any mash-up, he did it using one of his own tracks. The song, Call out Epic with a solid mash of Sandro Silva and Kaskade himself.

So here we are again, Tiesto making another release and another banger. This guy is never going away and I love it! I am also psyched to see Swanky Tunes making big waves in the EDM world with the help of Tiesto and Club Life. The song, Make Some Noise so why don’ we do just that!

Short and sweet, just like I said. Have a fantastic night and go hard this weekend!

Introducing: Cosmic Rage

So polAris and I have been talking about putting together a mix for a few months now. Yesterday, we finally found the time and were plenty motivated to accomplish just that. Our name, Cosmic Rage as thought up by polAris himself and what we do is put together an array of genres into a flowing, epic adventure through music. So here it is, our first mix, a BombBeats.org exclusive:

Download: The Beginning – Cosmic Rage

The track listing can be posted if people would like too. Just take our word for it and grab this track, its worth the space on your computer. Just sit back and relax and let us pick the songs and you to the raging!

A Year to Remember

I don’t think anybody can argue that this was the year of EDM. Big names from around the world pumped out new songs almost weekly while somehow touring for months at a time. Trying to narrow down all the songs from 2011 into a top 25 list was quite the task but I embarked on it for everyone out there. So if you have been busy this year and your iTunes is still without these songs, heres your chance to catch back up and start raging to your full potential. The order of these songs is not important nor is it intentional except for the number one ranked song. So here they are, the songs that rocked our world all year long:

No Beef (Vocal Mix) – Steve Aoki & Afrojack

Seek Bromance (Avicii Arena Mix)

Fade Into Darkness – Avicii

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Avicii’s ‘Tour’ Mix)

Hello Miami (2011 WMC Anthem) – Avicii

Bounce – Calvin Harris

Feel So Close – Calvin Harris

Happy Violence (Vocal Extended Mix) – Dada Life

Calling (Original Instrumental Mix) – Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso

Raise Your Weapon (Madeon Extended Remix)

Fight Club Is Closed (Original Mix) – Dada Life

Aces High (Prutataaa) (Original Mix) – Afrojack

Derezzed (Vocal Edit) – Avicii

Save The World – Swedish House Mafia

And the most anticipated part, this years number one song is, drum roll please………

Levels – Avicii

Ever since I first heard this song in avicii’s essential mix, when it was first called ID, I fell in love with this song. Avicii has been absolutely tearing up this whole year and Levels is quite possibly one of the most epic electro anthems of all time. And if you didn’t already see it, here is the music video for the song of the year.

and if his music wasn’t sick enough, I got to hang out with avicii when he came to UNH. (Yeah I’m posting it again)

So there you have it, this unbelievable year of music has come to an end but opening the doors for one hell of a 2012. See you very soon as I am back, with much time and much music to post.

Dubstep Mondays

Hopefully everyone had a weekend filled with blasting music and dancing hard. This monday brings dubstep to a whole new level here on BombBeats. I have mostly been posting  “mainstream” dubstep so far but today should change that pace a tad. These songs are going to hit hard time and time again with the odd lyric thrown in there.

First up here we have a new release from a relatively unknown artist, Drivepilot.

Atlantic – DrivePilot

Next up we have a few hard hitters from Gemini.

Graduation – Gemini

Vision – Gemini

You Need Me, I Don’t Need You (Gemini Remix)

Following those wobbles from Gemini, we have a regular making another appearance. Heres Adventure Club with another banger.

Put On (Adventure Club Dubstep Remix)

Next we have a compilation with the Swedish House Mafia and mostly unknown artist, Knife Party.

Antidote – Swedish House Mafia & Knife Party

Heres a Bonus from Knife Party just incase that first one wasn’t enough.

Crush On You (Knife Party Remix)

Zeds’s Dead is back again with another speaker breaker.

Wild Heart (Zeds Dead Remix)

Well since my knowledge is minimal with the last few, I’ll let you judge whether BB worthy or not.

Invisible (TON!C Bootleg)

Bassmentality (Figure Drumstep Remix)

Feel The Rain (Kovary & Stereokillaz Dubstep Remix)

Airplanes (Forekast Remix)

Depending how classes go today, I MIGHT come back with a few more to round off a beautiful day of dubstep.
